Jacquie Elliott is the founder and president of Center for Car Donations. She has been helping non-profits raise funds since 1984. In her capacity as Director of Fundraising for a social service agency, she developed a successful car donation program. She has been working in the car donation industry since 1993. She brings her expertise, high-ethical standards, high level of customer service and intimate knowledge of how best to serve non-profits to the Center for Car Donations. By keeping overhead low, she offers a way for charities to keep a substantially larger share of the proceeds, while still providing a level of services unmatched in the car donation business.
Jacquie lives in Bend, Oregon with her husband, Jack, and cat, Cozette, where she enjoys skiing, biking, kayaking and camping. She also enjoys glass fusing at her studio, The Glass Guild. She is a Big Sister and was a former CASA. She was voted Volunteer of the Year at her local community radio station, KPOV, in 2012. She can be heard on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. on The Point, a local community affairs talk show on KPOV, which can be live-streamed at www.kpov.org
Tom Bidot is the Director of Operations here at Center for Car Donations. He has been with the company for over 6 years. Tom is responsible for overseeing all donations and managing the bids at the auctions. He is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of CCD. He works tirelessly and passionately with each auction company to ensure our donations are being adequately taken care of, while maximizing the revenue generated by each donation. It is Tom’s job to make sure the donor has a good experience from the moment they call until they receive their “Thank You” letter.
Tom lives in Bend with his Husband and 2 dogs; a Pug mix, Phantom, and a Springer Spaniel named Ophelia. They recently became first time home-owners and are loving every minute of setting up their beautiful new home. When he is not in the office, Tom can be found snowboarding, camping, and exploring the beautiful state of Oregon.
Jack Elliott handles our Internet technology and networking issues. He is the first one we call when our Internet is down or to help us decipher “computer speak.” Jack loves to camp and bike ride during the summer. We just have to hope our computers run smoothly during these warm months because Jack loves the solitude and beauty he finds on the bank of a quiet river in Central Oregon, far from the bustling office (not that we blame him!). Jack volunteers for his local community radio station and was nominated as Volunteer of the Year in 2014. He does the weather report on The Point which can be heard on Fridays at 9:00 a.m. on KPOV 88.9.
