Donating a car worked so well for one of our donors in the Chico, CA area, they donated 3 more!
Last year a couple donated a 1992 Ford Explorer and a 1994 Mazda Navajo, this year they are donating a 1993 Ford Escort and a 1992 Nissan Maxima.
We are so pleased when our donors have such a great experience donating through Center for Car Donations that they want to continue to donate and get the tax benefit it provides.
We enjoy working with wonderful companies like Vegas PBS, and we are proud that we are able to get a higher return for our nonprofits!

“Well, after 20 years in the car donation business, this is a first for me. It is the policy of our auction company to inspect all cars when they pick them up and before the car goes to auction. We look for any left-over personal items and sometimes find CD’s, loose change, a garage door opener.
Today we found a .38 Special the donor apparently forgot to take out. That’s a new one for us. Needless to say, the donor has ’some ‘splaining to do’.”
This car was generously donated in the San Diego area and the proceeds are going to benefit injured soldiers from the Iraqi and Afghanistan war.
It is a 2005 Mini Cooper in pristine condition with only 34,252 miles. It is a stick shift with leather interior.
